Librehealth
Librehealth is an online community. Librehealth=libre+health. Here libre is derived from the Spanish word meaning “free”. So Librehealth means “free health”.
In November of 2016 it was announced that a new community to the public with wider goals, which resulted in the foundation of Librehealth.
It is an open source. All can change its codes and can access it. It is free. It is a non-profitable charity.
It rewards people based on their work. People are given leadership according to their merit.
Here all people are treated as the same and all are given equal opportunities .
Decisions are taken collectively under people suggestions. All decisions are displayed publicly and all the suggestions given by people are taken into count.
This is a place where all people join together as a family and create tools for healthcare. This symbolizes the famous motto “healthcare for humanity” of librehealth. This helps librehealth in producing good and efficient decisions which helps the people.
They work together to coordinate activities which is why they are known as umbrella organization.

There are 3 projects which have been completed by librehealth:-
1.Librehealth electronic health record (EHR) system is designed to be easy to use and customizable according to user's needs. It adapts user experiences. It can be setup by using git bash, cmder etc. It is suitable to be used by health practitioners. The maintainer of this project is Tony McCormick.

2.Librehealth toolkit (lh-toolkit) is made by the and for the community. Your opinions also matters. It helps the functioning of librehealth EHR. The maintainer of librehealth toolkit is Saptarshi Purkayastha.

3.Librehealth radiology helps users to place radiology orders.The code maintainer is Judy Gichoya. It is a special branch in librehealth.
